Directors: Ksenia Zueva, Oksana Karas, Natalia Kudryashova. These talented women have made a significant contribution to modern cinema, creating original and memorable films. Each of them has a unique style and approach to directing, which allows them to stand out from the crowd. Ksenia Zueva is known for her deep and emotional stories, Oksana Karas combines drama and comedy in her work, and Natalia Kudryashova explores complex human relationships. Their work attracts the attention of audiences and critics, making them household names in the world of cinema.

The film stars Ingeborga Dapkunaite, Daria Zhovner, and Denis Shvedov. These talented actors bring unique characters and emotions to the story, making it especially memorable. Ingeborga Dapkunaite is known for her outstanding roles in film and theater, while Daria Zhovner and Denis Shvedov bring freshness and energy to the project. Their on-screen interaction creates a captivating dynamic that draws viewers in and immerses them in the story.

The anthology series consists of six episodes, each offering a modern interpretation of the classic works of Alexander Pushkin. The first episode adapts the well-known "Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish." In this new version, the main characters—the Old Man and the Old Woman—are presented as young writers, played by actors Pavel Popov and Daria Zhovner. Their income comes in an unusual way: the Old Man uses a dating app to find a wealthy woman, playing the role of a gigolo and gradually extracting money from her.

At one point, the Old Man meets the Goldfish, played by Ingeborga Dapkunaite, a film producer who is ready to fulfill any desire if she is satisfied in the intimate sphere. At one of the parties where Rybka is enjoying herself with her husband and film and music stars, from Klim Shipenko to Lolita, after heavy drinking, the Old Woman insists that her husband persuade his mistress to help them move to Moscow. However, as we know, such desires come at a high price. The series draws attention to pressing social issues, playing with familiar plots in a modern context.

"Pushkin's Tales" is the work of Mikhail Zygar, a recognized foreign agent in Russia, who served as the showrunner. Zhora Kryzhovnikov served as the series' producer, and Zhenya Berkovich, who is on Russia's list of terrorists and extremists, wrote the scripts for most of the episodes. As a result, the creators created a product that can be described as a cross between Black Mirror (particularly the episode "Cockerel") and a controversial satire in which rapper OG Buda uses Auto-Tune to turn Pushkin in his grave (the episode "Tsarevna"). YouTube commentators note that Pushkin would hardly have appreciated a film with tracks about "pussy-juice." The series oscillates between postmodernist statements and a frank loss of a sense of beauty, evoking conflicting emotions in viewers. Subscribe to the "How Are You?" Telegram channel. Peter the Great (played by Alexei Petrenko) once received as a gift a small Moor, the son of a black Tsar. The boy did not become a slave at court; he was raised as the Tsar's godson and was given the name Ibrahim Petrovich Gannibal (played by Vladimir Vysotsky). The child quickly mastered the sciences in Russia and soon went to France for further education and the improvement of manners. Returning from Paris a few years later, Gannibal fell in love with Natalia (Irina Mazurkevich), the daughter of the boyar Gavrila Rtishchev (Ivan Ryzhov). However, Natalia and her family were afraid of Gannibal because of his skin color. Peter the Great was determined to marry his godson to Natalia, but Hannibal himself soon began to doubt his feelings and the wisdom of this choice. The film was directed by Alexander Mitta in 1976 and based on Alexander Pushkin's unfinished work, "The Moor of Peter the Great." The film's original title was the same as the novel's, but the artistic council decided to change it to "The Tale of How Peter Married His Moor," which did not sit well with Vladimir Vysotsky. The actor expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that he was initially cast in the lead role, but ended up playing the role that comes "after the tsar and the comma." However, this is not the only problem the film faced: in today's society, the use of black makeup in such a context can lead to accusations of political incorrectness. Nevertheless, "The Tale" remains a vibrant adaptation that not only accurately conveys the content of the original but also fills in its gaps, offering viewers a deeper understanding of the work.

Famous opera singer Sofia Meyer (Ksenia Rappoport) returns to her homeland for a production of the revolutionary opera "The Queen of Spades" at her home theater. This time, she will be partnered by new, talented performers. In her youth, Sofia performed the role of Liza, but now she decides to play the Countess, handing the role of Liza to her niece (Maria Kurdenevich). The main difficulty lies in choosing a performer for the role of Herman, which must be played by one of the theater's veterans. This displeases the young actor Andrei (Ivan Yankovsky), who is convinced that only he can perfectly embody the character. However, Sofia disagrees and turns him down. This motivates Andrei to prove his ability to master the role of Herman both on stage and in real life. Seeking confirmation of his talents, the hero ends up in an underground casino, where he decides to risk all his savings, which leads him into dangerous criminal debt. "The Queen of Spades" is a work based on classical literature, but is not a full-fledged adaptation of Pushkin. Nevertheless, the film is an interesting interpretation of the classic. The film draws influence from several iconic films of recent years, such as Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan" and Nicolas Winding Refn's "The Neon Demon." Six years later, he meets Tatyana again, who has already married. Despite Onegin's renewed interest, Tatyana rejects him, highlighting the changes in their relationship and the characters' emotional maturity. This Anglo-American film adaptation of Pushkin's verse novel offers a melancholic and at times depressing take on the events of the work. Director Martha Fiennes, starring her brother in the title role, creates an atmosphere far removed from the playfulness of Alexander Sergeyevich. In their interpretation, Onegin and Tatyana are significantly different in age from the original characters, adding another layer to the story. Furthermore, the film contains some historical inaccuracies, such as the performance of the song "Oh, the Kalina Blossoms," written considerably after the events depicted. Despite this, the film resonates with audiences and critics, and Liv Tyler, who plays Tatyana, was awarded the Golden Aries in 1999, one of Russia's leading film awards. This film adaptation continues to draw attention to Pushkin's work and its complex themes.

Russia is a vast country, occupying a vast territory in eastern Europe and northern Asia. It is famous for its diverse nature, cultural heritage, and rich history. Russia encompasses a variety of climatic zones, from the Arctic cold to the mild Black Sea coast.

Russia's cultural heritage is impressive: it is home to world-famous architectural monuments such as the Kremlin and the Hermitage, as well as unique traditions and customs reflecting the multinational composition of the population. Russian literature, music, and fine arts have left a deep mark on world culture.

Russia's economy is diverse and includes key sectors such as energy, agriculture, and industry. The country has significant natural resources, including oil, gas, and metals, making it a significant player on the international stage.

Russia is also known for its tourism potential. Travelers can enjoy both historic cities such as Moscow and St. Petersburg and picturesque natural landscapes, including Lake Baikal and the Ural Mountains.

Thus, Russia is a country with a rich history, cultural diversity, and significant economic resources, making it a unique place to explore and visit.

Director Sarik Andreasyan is known for his unique approaches to filmmaking. His works are distinguished by an original style and a deep understanding of modern cinema. Thanks to his talent and creativity, Andreasyan has become one of the most prominent figures in the Russian film industry. His films often touch on relevant social issues, making them not only entertaining but also meaningful for viewers. Each project completed under his direction attracts the attention of both critics and audiences, demonstrating the high level of his professionalism.

The film stars actors Viktor Dobronravov, Denis Prytkov, and Liza Moryak. Their talent and skill imbue the work with a special depth and emotion. Each brings a unique voice to the overall picture, making the film captivating and memorable.

The plot of Sarik's "Onegin" is completely identical to the original, which makes the discussion of the final result especially relevant. Confusion arises already in the trailer: one of the characters mentions Onegin's youth, but a moment later the viewer sees the tired look of forty-one-year-old Viktor Dobronravov. In the context of the 21st century, he clearly does not look young, not to mention the 19th century. This raises questions about Sarik's intentions and how he interprets the classic plot for a modern audience.

Nothing outstanding happened in the film. Screenwriter Alexei Gravitsky simply adapted the poems into prose form, and the actors only voiced the text. Cinematographer Kirill Zotkin slowly moved around the set with his camera, while Sarik, off-camera, discussed the importance of immortalizing the poet's work. While the horrors of "The Defenders" aren't on display, don't expect any revelations either. Andreasyan has created an overly sterile film, more suited to a museum than a modern audience. Schoolchildren could use this film instead of reading the original novel or a summary, as it would be beneficial for them. However, the question arises: did all the project participants really strive for this?
