In this article, we will look at five unique projects developed by young illustrators and designers, including students, who demonstrate outstanding creativity. We have selected the most original works from the many presented to inspire new ideas and help you find fresh solutions. These projects not only reflect the individuality of the authors but can also serve as a source of motivation for creating your own work.
Yana Maximova has created a unique concept for a cosmetics brand that harmoniously combines sustainability and historical elements. The branding was developed with special attention to detail, each of which plays an important role in the overall concept. This approach not only emphasizes sustainable development values but also draws attention to the brand's rich cultural heritage, making it particularly appealing to conscious consumers. Yana has created a unique concept that returns to its roots: the cosmetic packaging is inspired by the products used by women in Ancient Rus. In this design, charcoal represents mascara, beets are used as blush, carrots represent lipstick, and potatoes serve as foundation. Although potatoes were unknown at the time, the idea itself perfectly captures the spirit of creativity and aligns with modern trends in the cosmetics industry. This concept not only maintains a historical connection but also reflects current trends in natural cosmetics, drawing attention to eco-friendliness and the use of natural ingredients. Yana Maximova's concept harmoniously combines modern fashion trends, including eco-friendly packaging, minimalism, and an emphasis on local production. This approach makes the brand not only attractive but also relevant in the context of growing interest in sustainable consumption. Yana Maksimova delivers high-quality products, attracting the attention of ethically and environmentally conscious consumers. Sustainability is becoming a key factor in brand selection, underscoring the importance of Yana Maksimova's vision in the marketplace.

Vase Aesthetics: A Humanistic Approach to Design
Designer Vasilina Kovalenko has developed a unique concept that combines elements of everyday and humanistic branding. Her project emphasizes the importance of caring for the elderly and the beauty of flowers that can be purchased from grandmothers on the streets and in pedestrian underpasses. This is more than just a vase—it is a symbol of kindness and mutual support, evoking memories of our loved ones and creating a warm atmosphere in public spaces. The project calls for attention and respect for the older generation, emphasizing the value of human relationships and support.

The project concept focuses on the development of "porcelain vases" that reflect the atmosphere of street flower trading and evoke warm memories of grandmothers offering their bouquets. This project emphasizes significant social issues, including respect for the elderly, the need for their support, and the preservation of cultural traditions. With these vases, we strive not only to preserve the memory of good traditions but also to inspire society to pay more attention to the older generation.
Modern Wooden Toys: Tradition Meets Innovation
Alina Shenogina, a student at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, created an innovative concept for wooden toys that combines elements of folk crafts and modern design. Each toy is decorated with vibrant paintings reflecting traditions and offers the possibility of customization, making them truly unique and attractive to buyers. These toys are not only aesthetically pleasing but also contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage and develop children's creativity.
Customization of toys opens up wide possibilities for creating unique sets. Each option has a stylish and authentic look, allowing buyers to create toys that reflect their personal preferences and individuality. This approach to creating toys not only makes them more attractive, but also allows each owner to express themselves through their collections.

Knitted sweater: a unique combination of nostalgia and modernity
Daria Rodionova, a student at HSE University, founded a unique brand of knitted goods "Uzelok", which attracts attention with its original concept. The Uzelok project goes beyond simply producing sweaters and represents a profound exploration of Soviet graphic design, which inspires contemporary fashion trends. The brand combines elements of art and fashion, imbuing each piece with special meaning and uniqueness. Uzelok knitwear not only emphasizes the individuality of its owners but also creates a new perspective on traditional crafts, connecting the past with the present. The Uzelok brand focuses on reconnecting with the past, exploring the possibilities of integrating nostalgic elements into contemporary fashion trends. Uzelok knitwear is distinguished not only by its stylish design but also by its unique history, making it particularly appealing to a youthful audience seeking self-expression and individuality. Each product conveys the atmosphere of the past, creating a unique combination of tradition and modernity, which allows the brand to stand out from the mass production and attract the attention of those who value originality and quality.

The Art of Window Trims: Unique Merch and the Preservation of Cultural Heritage
A project by Anastasia Guzikova, a student at HSE University, draws attention to a modern understanding of the traditional art of window trims. The virtual museum of window casings not only showcases their aesthetic value but also offers new approaches to merchandising that go beyond conventional standards. This initiative promotes the popularity of window casings as an element of cultural heritage and inspires the creation of unique products that highlight their artistic significance. This project is important for preserving traditions and adapting them to modern realities, making it relevant in the context of cultural development.
In her presentation, Anastasia showcased a wide range of merchandise, including tableware, stationery, unique matches, stylish watches, children's building blocks, and bag accessories. These items illustrate how traditional elements can seamlessly blend with modern lifestyles, creating harmony between the past and the present. This approach to design emphasizes the relevance and functionality of merch, which can become not only useful but also an aesthetically pleasing addition to everyday life.
