What if you're not in the holiday spirit and don't have any special plans for the May holidays? You can use the four days off productively—for example, by submitting an application to one of the competitions. Please note that some of them have a deadline of May 10th.

ColLab — Regular Master Classes as Part of the GES-2 Project

A new creative production center called "Svody" has been launched at GES-2. There are two ways to become part of this space. Every six months, the ColLab competition is held, in which designers, artists, architects, musicians, and filmmakers can participate. Successful participants will receive Svody resident status and will be able to bring their ideas to life. Competition winners will have access to the center's technical equipment, as well as be provided with the necessary materials and support from experienced craftsmen.

The competition will be held from April 1 to May 10, 2022.

Friends from the Svodov Club at GES-2

Representatives of various creative fields have the chance to use the equipment and support of specialists at GES-2 for a month. To participate, you must submit an application, which can be done at any time. After successfully passing the competitive selection, a participant of the "Friends Club" will have the opportunity to use all the resources of the "Vaults" for a month.

The competition is held on an ongoing basis basis.

"The Book Inside"

Samokat Publishing House is holding a competition for illustrators and artists. The program includes several nominations: "Educational / Non-Fiction Book", "Picture Book. Graphic Artwork", "Graphic Novel, Comics" and "Book for Toddlers (for readers aged 0 to 6 years)". Authors who take first place in each category will have the opportunity to publish their book with Samokat. The Grand Prix winner will be awarded a trip to Bologna, where the largest international children's literature fair will be held.

The competition will be held from February 1 to May 10, 2022 year during which applications can be submitted.

Rosbank Future Cities Digital Artists Competition

The Rosbank Future Cities Digital Public Art Festival was conceived to promote digital art. This year, the focus is on supporting the local art scene. The main theme for this year is "Coexistence. Environmental Practices in Digital Art." Participants are invited to submit their digital works that explore issues of biodiversity and sustainable development. These can be various formats, such as video, augmented reality, generative graphics, multimedia projections or interactive installations and much more.

The competition will be held from 21 April to May 16, 2022.

ADCR Awards 2022

ADCR Awards is a significant Russian award, a competition for specialists in the field of creativity, design and advertising, organized by the Art Directors Club of Russia. The competition covers seven different categories: Film & Audio, Print & Outdoor, Interactive & Mobile, Design, Brand Experience, Integrated & Innovation, and Young & Students.

The competition will be held from May 16 to August 25, during this time you can submit applications.

"Wednesday 2022"

This is one of the most respected competitions in Russia, aimed at designers and agencies. It includes numerous categories, covering areas such as typography in identity and visual concepts in video advertising. This year, the organizers have significantly reduced the cost of participation, thus seeking to support the industry, studios, agencies and individual designers.

The competition will be held from April 20 to October 26 2022, during which participants can submit their applications.
