Anna Brandush - "(In) the Place of Fear": A Revolution in Art and Psychology

In March 2022, Anna Brandush decided to leave the art world and turn to coaching. However, she soon returned with an innovative project that combines art and psychology. As part of this project, she presents real recordings of her coaching sessions, having received permission from her clients. This unique approach allows for a deeper understanding of the coaching process and its impact on personal development.

The videos are approximately one hour long, and two chairs located opposite the screen create an atmosphere in which watching dialogues with a coach proves to be as healing as personal therapy. Participants in sessions open up about their fears—from losing their minds to feeling vulnerable—and in this safe space begin to imagine what might happen if their fears didn't control their lives. This process promotes a deep understanding of oneself and helps find ways to overcome internal barriers.

Varvara Grankova: Art and Psychology in "Iron Maiden"

Three unique metal sculptures are located on a white podium, offering various modes of interaction: you can stand, sit, or even lie on them. The outer spikes, reminiscent of medieval torture devices, point outward, symbolizing the mechanisms of mental defense. These installations represent cages in which we (un)consciously place ourselves, exploring the boundaries of freedom and limitation. Each sculpture becomes a reflection of a person's inner world, emphasizing their desire for freedom and, at the same time, fear of restrictions.

Sayan Baigaliev - A View from Childhood

Sayan Baigaliev, an outstanding artist, guides viewers through the prism of his childhood memories. He addresses the experiences of his mother, who feared for the family's future under the burden of parental care. Now, as a father, he has a deeper understanding of these emotions—the fear and responsibility passed down from generation to generation. In his new work, he skillfully transforms this legacy of anxiety into a symbolic carpet wrapped around the body of the deceased. This artistic element reflects traditional Kazakh burial customs and emphasizes the importance of cultural heritage. Baigaliev's works serve not only as artistic expression, but also as a profound reflection on parental feelings and their influence on the future.

Vasilisa Lebedeva: The Art and Symbolism of "Doves"

At Vasilisa Lebedeva's exhibition "Doves," viewers are greeted by elegant ceramic doves that occupy a central place in the space, sparking interest in the important questions of life and death. The artist emphasizes that the concept of death is surrounded by many myths and prejudices. In her interpretation, death is presented not as something sublime, but as an everyday reality, reflected in ordinary dead doves found on the street. This simplicity of the theme conceals its depth: from the ashes, one dies so that something new can be reborn in its place—like grass breaking through asphalt. The "Doves" exhibition becomes a platform for reflection on the cycle of life and death, how each ending opens the way to a new beginning.

Farangiz Ra — A Study of the "Matrix"

The fear of being ordinary is often discussed less often than the fear of death, which can cause surprise and bewilderment. In his installation, Farangiz Ra explores these contradictions: on the one hand, the desire to stand out and be unique, on the other – the fear of becoming one of many, a "tuber" among thousands of others. This project makes us think about how our self-perception is connected to public opinion and expectations, and how social norms shape our desire for individuality.

Anastasia Litvinova: The Innovative "Sympathetic Wall"

At the 2024 exhibition, Anastasia Litvinova's works showcase a unique blend of art and interactivity. "Sympathetic Wall" is more than just a painting, but a veritable sensory platform. Covered in fluorescent paint, the wall instantly absorbs any words and drawings, rendering them invisible to the eye. This creates an atmosphere of mystery and allows each visitor to become an active participant in the artistic process. The exhibition attracts the attention of not only art lovers, but also those seeking new forms of interaction with creativity.

Anna Komarova — Installation "Hide and Seek"

Anna Komarova's installation "Hide and Seek" creates a unique experience of immersion in a world of art, where aspen branches, cut in early May, fill the space with the fresh scent of awakening nature. This place evokes associations with a children's hut, providing an opportunity to escape from everyday worries. However, mysterious and unsettling artifacts are located nearby, adding an element of intrigue and forcing viewers to ponder hidden meanings. The installation not only attracts attention with its aesthetic design but also invites deep reflection on the contrasts between serenity and anxiety, making it an important event in the contemporary artistic context.

The exhibition features works by a wide range of talented artists, including Anastasia Antipova, Sayan Baigaliev, Zhanar Bereketova and many others. This creates a unique diversity of styles and approaches to contemporary art, emphasizing its versatility and relevance in the modern cultural context. Each artist brings their own unique perspective, making the exhibition attractive to a wide audience and art connoisseurs.

The exhibition will run from May 23 to August 4, 2024, providing everyone with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of art and discover new sources of inspiration. Don't miss your chance to attend this cultural event, which will become an important milestone in the art world.
