The Energy of Youth: Avant-garde Cinema of the 1920s and 1930s
Marcel L'Herbier coined the term "avant-garde cinema," but the concept is rather vague. It encompasses the first experiments of the early 1900s, as well as Dadaism and Surrealism. The Soviet avant-garde of the 1920s should not be forgotten either. We recommend checking out the "urban" collection, which features the lights of Montparnasse, rainy Amsterdam, and the bright neon signs of Berlin.

Nuances of Transparency: Fragile Life Energy
