The Corner House, a community lifestyle blog, features talented Asian artists creating art. I am particularly impressed by Asian artists for their uniqueness, meticulous attention to detail, and strong connection to cultural traditions and historical heritage.

In the context of studios, I am currently paying attention to Pentagram. I am impressed by their business organization, which is a collaboration between partners, each of whom contributes to the completion of the project. Moreover, I love the end result of their work. It's also worth noting that their website has a great technique: it showcases the same project from different angles—visual design, the development process, and the final result—all done in a very stylish way.

When it comes to design, it is worth mentioning such authors as Peter Tarka and Pariwat Anantachina. Tarka is a 3D artist who creates stunning work filled with detail and a deep understanding of materials and lighting. Meanwhile, Bangkok-based collagist Pariwat Anantachina is a master of digital collage and also designs books.

    • Manga is a unique visual language with a wealth of forms and means of expression. Here are seven examples that can serve as a source of inspiration.

      1. Emotions through faces. In manga, artists masterfully convey the feelings of characters using expressive facial expressions and exaggerated features. This allows the reader to instantly understand the inner state of the heroes.

      2. Dynamics of movement. With the help of special markings and effects, such as motion lines, manga creates a sense of speed and activity, drawing the reader into what is happening on the pages.

      3. Frame composition. Artful placement of elements within each panel helps create the desired mood and emphasize key plot points.

      4. Color and Texture. While many manga are printed in black and white, the use of various strokes and patterns adds depth and dimension, making the reading more engaging.

      5. Nonverbal communication. Characters often express their thoughts and feelings without words, which adds expressiveness and allows readers to interpret the actions in their own way.

      6. Parallel plots. Manga can show several narrative lines simultaneously, which enriches the plot and creates complex interactions between characters.

      7. Symbolism and metaphors. Artists use visual symbols to convey deeper ideas and concepts, which allows readers to reflect on the meaning of what they see.

These aspects make manga more than just a means of entertainment, but a true art form, capable of conveying complex ideas and emotions through a unique visual language.
