This increased attention to sustainable production emphasizes the importance of transparency and honesty in marketing. Destruction zones require careful attention. It is in these areas that ideas will be generated and optimal solutions for temporary development of damaged areas will be found, and plans for their regeneration will be developed. Effective recovery of devastated areas depends on a comprehensive approach and innovative strategies that will not only restore infrastructure but also improve the quality of life of local residents.

Simpler means

In recent years, there has been increasing discussion about the human nature of basking in neutral spaces and using simple yet functional objects that can "tell" stories. In 2025, minimalism will become a leading trend, as designers emphasize intuitiveness and elegance in their designs. However, they will be challenged to combine simplicity with multifunctionality, which will make the design more practical and adaptive to user needs.

Personalization/Customization

Inclusive objects and gadgets are developed taking into account the needs of people of different ages, physical abilities, cultural background, gender, and body type. This approach ensures accessibility and comfort of use for all users, which contributes to a more equitable and diverse society. Inclusive design not only improves quality of life but also expands the market, allowing manufacturers to reach a wider audience.

Innovative solutions are needed to activate and engage all members of society, regardless of age. While the emphasis was previously placed on high-tech prosthetics, today the focus is shifting to creating spaces and objects in which both the elderly and children can feel comfortable, free, and safe. Such objects and spaces promote integration into society, improving quality of life and ensuring accessibility for all.

The key to achieving diverse capabilities is the use of objects with variable functions, adjustable sizes, and other parameters that allow for differentiated settings. This allows you to optimize the performance and adapt the product to the specific needs of users, which significantly increases its functionality and attractiveness.

Such devices actively use artificial intelligence, which provides voice control, process automation and personalized settings based on the collected data. This transformation makes household appliances more convenient and efficient, improving users' quality of life and optimizing interaction with the environment. Smart technologies not only enhance functionality but also open up new possibilities for home management, creating comfortable and safe living conditions.

Designers strive to seamlessly integrate modern technologies into their products, focusing on maintaining aesthetics and user convenience. Their main goal is to make smart devices more intuitive and accessible to a wider audience, improving interaction with products and ensuring comfortable use.

Nomadism

In 2025, the mobile lifestyle will continue to gain popularity, and people will need to move frequently, live, work, and relax on the go. Designers have already researched and tested various solutions to meet the needs of modern nomads. Among the persistent preferences are multifunctional, compact, and portable items that are easy to move and adapt to various conditions. These characteristics are key to creating convenient and practical items that make life on the road comfortable and productive.

Popular offerings on the market include transformable items, clothing with belts, and clip-on tent-type bags. These products are characterized by flexibility, adaptability, durability, and compact size and lightweight. New innovative pet accessories are expected to appear this year. These will include modern carriers, improved water bottles, next-generation litter boxes, and gadgets for finding lost pets. These innovations are designed to make life easier for both owners and their four-legged friends, providing comfort and safety.

Timeless

Designers will look back with interest to the past to confidently navigate the present. The past is perceived as a symbol of comfort and stability. While it doesn't always foster new ideas, it does provide comfort and a sense of control. This sense of confidence can be important in the design process, allowing for a balance between tradition and modern requirements.

Designers strive to ensure that real-world objects remain relevant, so they constantly seek ways to reinterpret textures and color palettes that were popular forty years ago, adapting them to today's reality. This process involves not only updating visual elements but also creating a harmonious combination of old and new, which allows you to maintain uniqueness and style.

Biophilia

In 2025, vegetation will become an integral part of the urban environment, penetrating houses, apartments and public spaces. Grasses, ivy, and flower beds will require innovative design solutions for urban road junctions, buildings, and systems responsible for humidification, lighting, and solar insolation. Sustainable greenery will play a key role in creating a comfortable and environmentally friendly urban environment, contributing to an improved quality of life for city residents.

In 2025, there will be growing interest in spaces that promote mental health. Green spaces in such spaces become an important therapeutic element. This applies not only to winter gardens in the offices of innovative companies but also to any plant placed on an office desk or bedside table in healthcare facilities. A significant number of applications for the design of interiors, objects and gadgets created using AI are expected. These innovative solutions will help professionals improve the quality of their work, optimize time and resources, and offer clients unique and personalized solutions. The expansion of AI will be fueled by growing interest in its application in various fields, creating new opportunities for design professionals.

In the new year, artificial intelligence will be a hot topic for artisans. Ceramicists, glassblowers, and textile artisans will strive to showcase unique combinations of AI technology and traditional handcraft. This collaboration will open new horizons in the world of crafts, enabling the creation of innovative products that fuse art and technology. Craftsmen will see AI not only as an assistant, but also as a partner capable of inspiring new creative ideas and solutions.

Proud South

More and more countries, such as India, Latin American countries, the Middle East and Africa, are actively developing their areas in the subject Design, textiles, interiors, and fashion. They strive to integrate local elements and traditional practices, preserving cultural heritage and promoting the uniqueness of their regions. This approach not only supports local crafts but also draws attention to the individuality of each country, creating new opportunities for the development of creative industries.

In 2025, museum and gallery exhibitions are expected to explore the cultures of Mexico, Lebanon, Bolivia, Uruguay, and several African countries. Indian architect and furniture designer Bijoy Jain will present his solo exhibition at the Fondation Cartier in Paris, which will serve as a starting point for a discussion of authentic and artisanal approaches in contemporary architecture and design.
