Choosing multidisciplinarity was a conscious step towards creating a more complete and balanced view of the world.

One language can become exhausted, while another imbues it with energy and meaning. It's important to adapt and evolve to remain relevant in a constantly changing world.

In the professions of designers and artists, it's crucial to be able to detach yourself and create distance between yourself and the material you're using. This allows not only to maintain a creative approach, but also to improve the quality of work, opening up new horizons for creativity.
I start to feel bored if I stay within the framework of one discipline for a long time, even if I really like it. No activity can exist in complete isolation from others. Variety is important, as it enriches the experience and allows you to look at familiar things from a new perspective. Therefore, I try to alternate activities to avoid monotony and maintain interest.
Switching to a different type of thinking or doing something with your hands can lead to unexpected solutions. When you are distracted by physical activity, ideas and answers to questions that previously seemed difficult arise in the inactive part of the brain. This process allows you to engage your creative potential and improve creative thinking.
You are one of the founders of the "Anton is Here" project. What are the most significant moments in the development of this project that surprised you, and what was a pleasant and unexpected discovery for you?
The way of thinking of the students with whom I was able to establish friendly relationships is an important source of knowledge for me. The opportunity to learn from them - This is a truly valuable advantage.
I quickly realized that we weren't just "helping" each other, but were collaborating to create a visual language that seamlessly incorporates horror, laughter, abstraction, and the absurd. This process allows us to explore various aspects of human perception and emotion, enriching our understanding of art and communication.
In the first days of working at the foundation, it seemed to me that I could hear other people through the thickness of water. Perhaps this was a manifestation of the adaptation of my perception. There's no guarantee you're truly being heard, nor is there any certainty that you fully understand the other person. This creates a special atmosphere of communication, where it's important not only to hear but also to understand what's behind the words.
This evokes conflicting feelings: pain and pleasure simultaneously. No one can penetrate the forbidden realms of our inner world.
Designing for charity truly requires a significant emotional and mental investment. It's important to know what helps restore these resources. Effective recovery methods can include teamwork, sharing experiences with colleagues, and participating in inspiring projects. Self-education and finding new sources of inspiration are also beneficial, which not only helps restore energy but also improves the quality of your work. A healthy work-life balance, as well as regular participation in charity events, help designers maintain motivation and energy for future work.

Lyuba Arkus founded the "Anton Is Here" center as a space for interaction between people. I'm not sure I could work for a charity where kind people help those facing difficulties. I don't see myself as a good person; I consider myself a complex individual. I enjoy working with people with autism, who also have their own challenges, and I value the opportunity to interact with them on an equal footing.
On days when I feel tired, I prefer to do tasks that require minimal effort, such as proofreading. Although my productivity is low at such times, I can still focus on correcting commas or processing photos. When I'm fully alert, I don't do these tasks, so they sit in abeyance until I feel tired.
Driving is one of the most effective ways for me to restore my mental balance. I simply choose a car and follow it, without thinking about the route or destination. This process helps me take my mind off everyday worries and stresses. If I notice other drivers becoming nervous, I change cars and continue on my way. Are you an artist or designer and do you adhere to a strict schedule? How do you separate your creative roles from professional responsibilities?
I disagree with this opinion. These are simply two modes of the same sensitivity. In one mode there is more structure, and in the other, more disintegration. However, it is worth noting that the material remains unchanged.
I become anxious without a schedule. Keeping a diary isn't suitable, as it requires reviewing completed tasks. I've switched to a sticky note system, with a sticker for each day, and I simply toss out completed tasks at the end of the day. However, sometimes my cat Karas eats part of the daily plan, which adds additional complexity.

Think in editing. I don't simply illustrate a film; I reimagine it in a new form—through typography, rhythm, paper structure, and the use of space. This is also the art of cinema, but presented in a different medium.

After that, we begin working on the articles that will be published inside the magazine. Our system includes careful planning and coordination between designers and authors to ensure a harmonious interaction between visual design and content. This approach allows us to create a unified style and a clear structure, which ultimately increases reader interest in our publication.
First, I strive to understand the structure of this magazine. It's important for me to identify its core elements: where the key ideas are directed, what its weaknesses are, and what its overall atmosphere is.
I don't have a strict system, but I prefer to start with topics that I'm familiar with. I usually keep a journal for one or two months, and then revise and process all the materials within a short period of time. This approach allows me not only to improve the quality of my content but also to analyze my ideas and achievements more deeply.
When all the source data is known, it becomes possible to correctly place emphasis, eliminate repetitive elements, highlight key points, and deemphasize less important aspects. I always create the cover at the end of the work, as it should reflect the final results and the main content.
