A Weekend with Alice

To celebrate the release of Lewis Carroll's new book, "Alice Through the Looking-Glass," illustrated by Pavel Pepperstein, the GES-2 Museum is organizing a public program. The event will culminate in a 40-minute chamber performance, "Alice's Dreams," where audience members will be seated at a table with the actors. In addition, the production designers will offer various workshops for children and teenagers. On Saturday, young participants will create cardboard flowers with mirrored centers, and on Sunday, they will assemble their own Looking Glass World using a variety of collage and decoupage techniques.

Anton Sevidov's "Summer, Shalom!" Concert Performed on Piano

The lead singer of the synthpop group Tesla Boy will perform an acoustic concert on the Summer Veranda of the Jewish Museum, instead of the usual electronic sound. He will present his band's compositions, accompanying them on the piano, and will also improvise with the participation of invited jazz and classical musicians. Before him, the frontman of the group Starcardigan will take the stage, who will delight the audience with a varied DJ set.

Sofia Veselova, a PhD in art history and an expert in the history of Russian landscape gardening, will share information about how these events contributed to the exchange of knowledge and experience between Russia and Europe.
