    In Russia, its content partners include eight universities and five industrial companies, including Mail.ru Group / VK, Yandex, Sberbank, FROO, and JetBrains. The platform offers 8,000 courses, of which approximately 700 are available in Russian. The number of registered Russian-speaking users exceeds 2.6 million, while the total number of users in the CIS is 4.6 million.

    The first course from Russia on the Coursera platform was launched in 2014 by our team at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). This project has become a significant step in the development of online education in Russia and has opened up new opportunities for students and professionals to acquire relevant knowledge and skills.
