A computer science teacher at the New School is a specialist who plays a key role in developing students' digital skills. In the modern world, where information technology plays an important place in life, teaching computer science is becoming especially relevant. The teacher not only teaches the basics of programming, data science, and computer literacy, but also inspires children to embrace new technologies. At the "New School," an emphasis is placed on the practical application of knowledge, which helps students develop critical thinking and creativity. Today, at work, I can focus on three main aspects.
Contact with yourself is an important aspect of inner balance. This process helps not only to focus on internal sensations, but also to avoid excessive dependence on external factors. Maintaining a connection with your own feelings and thoughts allows you to discover and follow your true beliefs, which promotes harmony and self-realization. This internal dialogue helps you better understand yourself and your desires, strengthening your confidence in every decision you make.
Support plays an important role in my life. I help those in need and receive support from loved ones, therapists, and a community of friends and colleagues. This mutual interaction enriches my experience and strengthens connections.
The third important aspect is the teaching in which I am actively involved. It contributes to a change in context, as well as to my personal growth and development. This teaching helps me deepen my connection with myself and maintain inner stability.
Are you able to turn your mind off things while working? Losing focus can have serious consequences. Escaping reality risks burnout while maintaining the same level of focus. As Carroll argued, this can be futile and ineffective. It is important to find a balance between work and rest to maintain productivity and not lose touch with reality.
My job is to support children's learning, personal growth, and development, sometimes using the unique aspects of the subject. This requires the mind, heart, and spirit to work in harmony. I constantly engage my mind, combining it with feelings and sensations to do my job effectively while not losing sight of the importance of life.
As an educator, I understand that there is no universal method for helping students, as each situation is unique. My job is to help them listen to their inner feelings and believe in their ability to make the right life decisions for them. From my own experience, I've learned that such choices depend largely on maintaining and developing human relationships, as well as the ability to remain humane in any circumstances.
Each school class or group represents a unique community of diverse individuals. It's important for each participant to feel accepted, understood, and open to their experiences in order to focus on the most meaningful aspects of learning. I believe that everyone who comes to my classes values their own education, and we pay due attention to this.
In my teaching, I strive to provide my students with the necessary level of support and acceptance that I myself can offer. I try not to hide my identity behind the role of a teacher, but to remain a genuine person. These lively relationships and interactions become the foundation of our shared learning—for both me and my students.
