The survey included both parents and grandparents of schoolchildren and individuals without school-age children. The majority of respondents believe that the school should perform not only educational, but also educational function. However, fewer respondents emphasized the importance of encouraging children to seek new knowledge compared to education. This underscores the importance of a comprehensive approach to the educational process, where the development of independent information search skills plays a key role.

The educational function of the school curriculum requires revision. A discussion held at the Moscow International Education Fair in April revealed that many educators consider the curriculum content outdated. This underscores the need to update educational standards to meet modern requirements and student interests.
