As a methodologist, I believe that the use of traumatic methods in teaching is an outdated approach. It is important that the learning process be comfortable and supportive. Modern trends emphasize an individual approach, reflection, and flexible adaptation of the educational process to the unique rhythms of each student. This creates a more effective and productive learning environment where everyone can develop at their own pace.

Online Master's Degree: How to Implement It

This year, Skillbox, together with Moscow State Pedagogical University (MSPU), is launching a new distance learning Master's degree program, "Designing Educational Experience." This collaboration was born out of a desire to combine academic knowledge and practical skills to provide students with a high-quality education in educational design. This program is designed to train specialists capable of creating effective educational solutions and adapting them to modern requirements.

Russia's oldest pedagogical university proposed the idea of ​​jointly implementing a program that would leverage their experience and our digital tools. The result is a symbiosis of academic foundations, pedagogical traditions, and modern EdTech solutions.

Have you transitioned the offline format to online?

This is a completely new program, and we are launching our first cohort this summer. In collaboration with Moscow Pedagogical State University, we developed a curriculum based on professional and educational standards. We conducted in-depth research, including an analysis of the target audience, the general market situation, current vacancies, and also reviewed articles and conference proceedings on the topic, as well as modern tools that will help our students successfully integrate into the professional environment.

The program lasts 2.5 years. During this time, educational tools may undergo significant changes. Modern technologies are rapidly evolving, and new teaching methods, platforms, and resources may become available. This requires educational institutions to be flexible and willing to adapt their courses and materials to remain relevant and effective. Basic skills will likely not be covered. However, we have taken this need into account and included disciplines related to methodology and those that are just beginning to develop in the curriculum. The program will also include the art of producing, which will allow methodologists to learn how to effectively interact with experts and organize the launch of educational programs. Students often ask about the mode of study and the ability to manage their schedule. Depending on the educational institution and the chosen program, the mode may vary from in-person to distance learning. It is important to note that schedule flexibility may depend on the specifics of the course and the requirements of the instructors.
