Executive Director and CEO of NAFSA - The Association of International Educators. This organization is actively engaged in the support and development of international education, providing for the exchange of experiences and resources among educators. Under the leadership of its Executive Director, NAFSA promotes innovative approaches to learning and fosters global collaboration in education. A key role of the association is to strengthen ties between educational institutions and professionals working in international education.
Neither Ukrainian nor Russian students studying abroad should be held personally responsible for the actions of their governments. Restricting access for students, researchers, and scholars from these countries is wrong and counterproductive to achieving long-term peace and stability. International faculty play a key role in this context, especially in the context of ongoing conflict and during the reconstruction phase. The primary goal of their work is to strengthen mutual understanding and establish connections both within and beyond campus. Education must remain a space for dialogue and cooperation, promoting peace and understanding among nations.
