Series like "Brigada" (The Brigade) instill in young people a unique perspective on the historical era. Despite the romantic overtones, the reality of that era demanded strict management. Successful leadership was always relevant, regardless of external circumstances. Effective management in these changing times became the key to success and stability.
Looking back on the atmosphere of past years, one can note that the energy of new opportunities reigned. Despite payment delays and financial difficulties, for many entrepreneurs, it was a period of excitement and drive. In 2010, we felt this spirit again when a wave of startups began in the country, indicating a rise in innovative activity and a desire to realize new ideas. This period became an important milestone in the development of entrepreneurship, opening new horizons for business and inspiring many people to create their own projects.
The 1998 crisis was a serious test for many businesses and demonstrated the importance of effective management. As a result of this experience, we realized the importance of competent work with accounts receivable. We optimized our processes, which allowed us to minimize losses and successfully overcome this difficult period, although in some cases we had to return goods to customers. This experience became a valuable lesson for the further development and strengthening of the company's financial stability.
Internal crises proved more devastating than expected. Weakening partnerships forced me to sell my shares in IRTF and Mul-T-Lock International. Soon after, I founded a consulting company called Berner & Stafford, which sounded modern and attractive at the time.
You have built your business in three different decades, and each of them has had a significant impact on your career. These decades brought unique challenges and opportunities, shaping your professional path. Each period became an important stage that contributed to the development of your skills and business strategy.

At the time, I didn't even know what it was, thinking that a fax machine was all I needed for work. It's interesting how quickly technology becomes a part of our lives, and how important it is to be prepared for changes in the digital world.

Looking back at the period of transition between eras, I realize that I had a false sense of omniscience, and I had to re-encounter reality. With age and experience, I increasingly reflect on my purpose and true essence. In the process of analyzing my achievements, I came to the conclusion that success in business did not correspond to my inner values. This was simply a consequence of the fashion trends characteristic of the late Soviet Union, which captivated me at the time. Now I strive to find a deeper understanding of myself and my goals in order to create a more harmonious life that aligns with my true desires and beliefs.
Teaching and interacting with people inspire me and have become the foundation of my career growth. This realization led me to move into consulting, and then into the world of education. I strive to impart knowledge and skills by creating effective training and consulting methods that help people develop and achieve success. My goal is to facilitate personal and professional growth by making the learning process accessible and engaging.
